QEC-RXXD, EtherCAT Slave Digital I/O modules, Cycle time up to 100µs, and feature Hardware Monitoring to meet Carbon Footprint

February 17, 2023

ICOP’s QEC-RXXD series are standard industrial EtherCAT slave digital I/O modules, which with isolated channels designed to protect from harmful interference and environmental influences. The modules offer a wide variety of I/O channels that can be intermixed between 4, 8, 12 or 16 channels of IOs, for up to 16 channels, providing custom service to save unnecessary parts costs, and the channels are isolated from each other, simplifying the isolation of signals throughout the system.

QEC-RXXD has been passed by conformance testing tools and can be operated by qualified EtherCAT masters to quickly implement your industrial applications.

New EtherCAT Slave Digital I/O Modules, QEC-RXXD

QEC-RXXD's high-speed DIO modules can support EtherCAT cycle times as fast as 100µs to meet high-precision applications' needs. The hardware design features new components that allow the modules to reduce heat generation and extend product life; while also providing automatic internal status monitoring, including voltage, current and operating temperature, to help provide effective carbon footprint tracking.

QEC-RXXD allows users to update the firmware via FOE, making it easier to update QEC modules and features two networks available for EtherCAT Cable Redundancy.
On the hardware, module status can be indicated by LEDs for troubleshooting and verifying I/O status, and provides flexible installation and efficient I/O channel configurations for connectivity, reducing infrastructure and operating costs, and can be deployed in network topologies such as star, line, or ring.
QEC-RXXD measures 107.45 x 77.4 x 30 mm and supports system operation from -20 to +70°C. It can be easily placed outdoors with the Din-Rail mounting kit and features a European-style terminal block that provides easy installation and removable wiring terminals for easy deployment.
