[Technical tips] How to reset BIOS load factory defaults by hitting End key

During the hardware and software development and debugging processes, many users, engineers, and other applications would make modifications in the BIOS setting. Sometimes, they may encounter some problems like errors that the board hangs after changing the default settings in the BIOS.

In order to solve this problem, ICOP offers this article about resetting the BIOS to the factory default setting by hitting the end key after powering on the ICOP's products like Vortex86DX and SX series boards.

Target Device

The target device we will be focusing on is the VDX-6354RD

The steps to BIOS load factory defaults by hitting [End] key:

• Step 1: Keep hitting End key immediately after power on the ICOP board
  
• Step 2: It’s done when you hear beep and the board restart
• Step 3: Enter BIOS menu, load optimal defaults and save changes (This step to make sure BIOS get reset)
