IBW-6954 family can support 3 different performance processors, including Intel® Atom® x5-E8000, Intel® Pentium® N3710 and Intel® Celeron® N3160. All of these 3 CPUs are Quad-cores’ processors and the processor’s frequency is 2.00GHz (Burst) 1.04GHz(x5-E8000), 2.56GHz (Burst) 1.6GHz(N3710), and 2.24GHz (Burst) 1.6GHz(N3610) respectively. Intel will no longer support the Legacy Basic Input/Output System (BIOS) on products launched by Intel from 2020, which means that Intel will not support issues, questions, or debug scenarios on legacy Platform BIOS configuration. The processor adopted by IBW-6954 family is the last Intel platform which can support both UEFI and Legacy BIOS. Thanks to the support of legacy BIOS mode which makes IBW-6954 has the capability of supporting legacy operating systems such as Windows 7 and Windows Embedded Standard 7.

IBW-6954 family is an embedded PC/104 solution for industrial applications based on the Intel® Quad-core processor. IBW-6954 family is featured with onboard 4GB DDR3L RAM to provide reliable and powerful computing performance; it also provides ISA bus and Mini PCIe slot to optimize its expandability.
The multiple storage interfaces are available on IBW-6954, such as the common SATA interface (SATA 6.0 Gb/s), mSATA, and Micro SD.
IBW-6954 can support up to three display outputs simultaneously with hardware decoding ability of H.265, MPEG2, MVC, VC-1, VP8, WMV9, JPEG/MJPEG, H.264, MVC, and JPEG/MJPEG. The maximum resolution support of VGA, HDMI, and LVDS is 1920X1200, 2560x1600, and 1920x1200.
The compact size of IBW-6954 (116mm x 96mm) and the operating temperature range (0°C to +60°C) allows IBW-6954 can be deployed in harsh and space-limited environments for critical application.
