ICOP Technology proudly introduces the QEC-RXXMV3S — a compact, high-performance three-axis EtherCAT pulse output module tailored for industrial automation, CNC machining, laser engraving, and advanced motion control applications. Supporting both the CiA 402 drive profile and G-code programming, the QEC-RXXMV3S delivers exceptional flexibility, integration capability, and control precision.
One of the most powerful advantages of the QEC-RXXMV3S lies in its ability to bridge traditional pulse-based control systems with modern EtherCAT infrastructure. By adopting this module, manufacturers can upgrade legacy step/dir motor systems without replacing the entire control architecture — enabling integration with EtherCAT-based HMIs, IPCs, or PLCs. This creates a cost-effective and low-risk migration path toward real-time synchronized motion control, while preserving existing investments in motors and mechanical setups.
The QEC-RXXMV3S achieves ultra-fast synchronization at 125 μs, enabling simultaneous independent control of three axes with pulse output rates of up to 4Mpps. This performance empowers high-speed operations, precise positioning, and smooth motion trajectories in demanding applications such as engraving, pick-and-place systems, and robotics.
The module has passed the EtherCAT Conformance Test, ensuring stability and real-time responsiveness in mission-critical environments. It supports Free Run, SyncManager2, and Distributed Clock (DC) modes and is fully compliant with the CiA 402 standard, supporting control modes including Profile Position (PP), Cyclic Synchronous Position (CSP), Cyclic Synchronous Velocity (CSV), and Homing (Methods 19, 20, 21, and 22). This guarantees seamless interoperability with mainstream EtherCAT MDevice and software platforms. In addition, a built-in G-code interpreter enables direct execution of industry-standard CNC instructions, making it ideal for motion-centric and machine tool applications.
To ensure accurate feedback and closed-loop control, the QEC-RXXMV3S integrates differential A, B, and Z encoder interfaces. These channels support encoder input frequencies up to 14 MHz and a 32-bit positioning range, offering both high resolution and robust noise immunity in electrically harsh industrial environments.
Designed for integration convenience, the QEC-RXXMV3S features a compact DIN-rail mountable form factor (107.45 x 77.39 x 34 mm), a wide operating temperature range of -20°C to +70°C, and dual EtherCAT ports to support network redundancy, ensuring system-level reliability and stability.
The QEC-RXXMV3S is a powerful and versatile EtherCAT motion control solution. For more info and sample request, please write to info@icop.com.tw, call your nearest ICOP Branch, or contact our Worldwide Official Distributor.
