EtherCAT Slave Junction Modules: QEC-RXXJT Series, With Fiber Optics Interface and Junctions, Supports Flexible Wiring Configurations

ICOP is proud to announce the release of the QEC-RXXJT series, our latest standard industrial EtherCAT slave junction modules that include both standard junction modules and fiber optics modules. These modules are designed to support flexible wiring configurations in line, tree, and star topologies, ensuring that EtherCAT systems remain operational even if a machine error necessitates a shutdown.

Enhanced Connection Efficiency and System Stability

Compliant with the EtherCAT Conformance Test Tool (ET9400), the QEC-RXXJT series is fully qualified and can integrate seamlessly with most third-party EtherCAT master systems, facilitating quick implementation in industrial applications.

 

1. EtherCAT Junction Modules: QEC-RXXJT1S/2S

The QEC-RXXJT1S/2S modules are built for standard EtherCAT junctions, supporting both daisy chain and branch connections. This design allows for flexible wiring configurations and supports connection lengths of up to 100 meters using 100BASE-TX, ensuring robust and reliable networking in demanding industrial environments.

 

2. EtherCAT Fiber Optics Module: QEC-RXXJT3S

The QEC-RXXJT3S module features an SC duplex socket for fiber-optic connections, enabling the creation of star topologies using 100BASE FX hardware. This module provides the flexibility to be seamlessly integrated into any position within an EtherCAT Terminal segment, enhancing network configurations:

  • Expansive Reach: Capable of connection distances up to 20 kilometers with multi-mode glass fiber, ideal for extensive industrial applications.
  • Modular Configuration: Multiple QEC-RXXJT3S units can be used together to form a modular EtherCAT star hub.
 

The QEC-RXXJT series modules are capable of monitoring hardware information including temperature, voltage, current, and startup time (hr), allowing users to track the system’s carbon footprint and estimate its lifespan.

With dimensions of 107.45 x 77.4 x 34 mm and an operating temperature range from -20 to +70°C, these modules are built for industrial use. Installation is straightforward using the Din Rail mounting kit and features a European-style terminal block that provides easy installation and removable wiring terminals for fast deployment.
